FAQ
Frequently asked questions
For Germany, I offer simple (non-certified) translations of documents such as brochures, catalogs, websites, journalistic texts, texts on art, culture, tourism, gastronomy, job applications and resumes, as well as technical translations of documents such as employment contracts, service contracts, technical specifications, manuals and worksheets.
For North America, I also offer certified translations, such as:
Vital records (birth, marriage and death certificates).
Academic (diplomas, transcripts, degrees, credentials).
Identity (identity cards, passports, driving licences).
Personal finances (payslips, employer's letters).
Human resources (employment references, no criminal record letters, single status letters).
Medical (clinical studies, medical prescriptions).
As a court-authorized translator from the Mexican state of Sonora, my translations are recognized in:
- In most Mexican states: Mexico City [only for naturalization applications, company incorporation, proof of foreign tax payments, recognition of foreign degrees], Aguascalientes, Campeche, Chiapas, Durango, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa, Sonora, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, and Yucatán.
- The entire United States of America.
- Canada.
Although this may vary depending on the type of document, many European and Latin American countries also accept Mexican sworn translations. As the rules and regulations can vary greatly from country to country and from institution to institution (e.g. immigration authorities, universities, courts, etc.), it is always advised to check directly with the institution for translation requirements.
The privacy of my clients' personal data is highly important to me and I treat it with the utmost confidentiality. If you prefer, we can sign a confidentiality agreement to ensure your peace of mind. However, in order to provide you with a quote, I will need to review the document in digital format. I use a secure email provider that employs end-to-end encryption through the SSL/TLS protocol, but if you need additional protection for your document, you could encrypt it with a password and share it with me separately. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.
